The Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery is a host site for the ArtWorks Studio Tours. Our member artists on duty on those days will bring in projects they are working on and will be demonstrating and eager to talk about their work. There will also be Studio Tour Artist Lists & Maps available so visitors can find out who else is participating and where their studios are located. Guild members Georgeanne Gaffney, Sandra Hildreth, and Mary Lou Reid are among the list of participating artists and will welcome visitors to their studios.

The Adirondack Wildlife Refuge in Wilmington, NY will bring some live animals to the Gallery between 3 - 4 pm. Stop in and meet them. There will also be a raffle for a painting of one of the wolves that live at the Refuge, painted by Guild member Sandra Hildreth. This will be one of the events of the 2017 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, whose theme is "Adirondack Wildlife".

"Adirondack Wildlife" is the theme of the 2017 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, which is Feb 3-12, 2017. Guild members will display works that interpret this theme in a variety of ways. Come celebrate winter with us, enjoy the exhibit as well as our Ice Palace and other Winter Carnival events. On Saturday Feb 4 we will have real Adirondack wildlife in the gallery between 3 - 4 pm, with a presentation by the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge.

Each year the members of the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery select an area not-for-profit to be the beneficiary of a silent auction. Members donate a piece of artwork and the proceeds are shared with the organization. In 2017 we have selected the Saranac Lake Youth Center.

According to its mission statement, the Saranac Lake Youth Center provides a healthy, substance-free, supervised environment for teenagers offering programs which develop social skills, personal growth and responsibility in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Please join us for food and refreshments and come place a bid!

The Adirondack Artists Guild will present “Back to the Roots,” a collection of photographs by Barry Lobdell.  The exhibit will be on display for the month of December.

Lobdell writes, “The ‘roots’ I refer to in the title of this exhibit refer to both my beginnings as a photographer, working in a chemically based darkroom and producing black and white photographs, and to the trees which are my subjects.
