The Artists Guild Gallery is a host site for the 17th Adirondack Plein Air Festival and several of our members artists participate. There are Festival events every day and the public is welcome to come watch the artists paint. The Gallery will have maps and information available. On Thursday Aug 21, the Gallery will be the location for the "Paint the Town" Silent Auction. Plein Air Festival artists will paint in the Village on Thursday, and then bring their donated paintings to the Artists Guild Gallery where the Silent Auction will be set up with bid sheets for each painting. Proceeds will be split between the artists and ArtWorks, to help support programming throughout the year. On Friday evening the Auction will be moved over to the Town Hall, where the huge Show & Sale will be held, and it will end Saturday Aug 23 at 4 pm. High bidders need not be present and will be contacted for payment. 

One of the original founding members of the Guild, Mark Kurtz is well known for his fine art photography.

Unique and interesting photographs by long-time member Burdette Parks.

Members of the Adirondack Artists Guild will each contribute work for this group show, all related to the theme of "Birches".  Viewers can expect some unique interpretations!

An annual tradition for 27 years, the members of the Guild invite artists throughout the Adirondack/North Country region to submit their best work for this exhibition.  Winners will be announced and prizes awarded during the reception.

Area plein air painters and photographers are invited to get out and create something inspired by the eclipse. Will there be sunset colors? How dark will it really get? Work can be brought to the Gallery by 6 pm on April 8 for a special table-top easel. Framing is not required. Anyone who wishes to participate should contact the gallery and let us know. A donation of food for the reception is requested from each artist when work is dropped off. A reception will be held from 6 - 8 pm that evening. Refreshments served. Exhibit closes April 17.

This is the 26th year the Adirondack Artists Guild has invited regional artists to enter this juried event. All forms of art may be submitted. Our juror is Laura Desmond, curator and educator at the Frederic Remington Art Museum. Each year we featured the best art in the Adirondacks during this month long exhibit. The opening reception is March 15, 5 - 7 pm. Gallery hours are Tues-Sat, 11-5 and Sundays 11-3. Please join us for food and refreshments, the awards presentation, and vote for the "People's Choice" award.
