Purchasing Original Artwork

Purchasing original artwork is a deeply personal experience, and the members of the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery would like to help make it an easy and fulfilling process.

A new feature of our website is the ability to see a "Room" view. When on the page of a specific work of art, click on "More Info", then beneath the image there is an option to click on "Room". You can choose what kind of room and have a limited choice of wall colors. But it provides the opportunity to see artwork scaled to the same proportions as sample pieces of furniture. Frames are not included, but feel free to contact the gallery and request an artwork image with a frame. (Unfortunately "Room" does not work for ceramics or jewelry).

To purchase work online, our website is now set up with PayPal. Since we are a co-op gallery, when a purchase is made, the individual artist will be contacted to handle the sale. The payment will be handled using PayPal, and the artist will contact the buyer directly to arrange for shipping, which will be the buyer's responsibility. We use UPS for most shipping needs and for original artwork, UPS prefers to pack items before they will insure them. This personal attention may take a little longer than the typical online purchase.

For direct Gallery purchases, all our member artists are willing to advise and assist in making purchase decisions. If the member on duty doesn't know the answer, they can contact the original artist. It may also be possible to bring art to your home to see how it will look, before the purchase is made and most of our members will accept commissioned work. It is our goal to make sure our customers will be perfectly satisfied with the artwork they purchase for many years to come. We put a lot of our heart into creating it, so we want the art purchase to be near and dear to the customer's heart as well.
