Welcome!
to the Second Annual Artist at Work Studio Tour featuring artists who work and live in the Tri-Lakes area. The Adirondack Artists' Guild is pleased to present over 30 artists showing and selling their works at 26 locations across the region. See first-hand how a painting begins, observe the process of photography with and without the darkroom. Hear the whir of the potter's wheel, the thunk of the weaver's loom and even meet the sheep who product the wood for woven tapestries.

The three day tour is for you to design. Visit a different vicinity each day. Check the studio descriptions to make sure the studios you are planning to visit are open that day.

Think Green while visiting studios located in the Village of Saranac Lake. Several studio locations are within walking distance of each other. Take advantage of the studios proximity to each other while enjoying the Adirondack style architecture and home-town ambience of Saranac Lake.

Remember that many of the spaces are in the artist's home and private workspace. Please enter with care and respect their space.

Studio Tour Central is the Adirondack Artists' Guild Art Gallery, 52 Main Street, Saranac Lake, www.adirondackartistsguild.com, and 518-891-2615. If you have any questions or need any help during the tour weekend you can stop in and visit the Guild Art Gallery where you will meet member artists who can direct you around the area.

nyscaThe 2nd Annual Artist at Work Studio Tour is supported in part by a Developing Community Arts Grant from the New York Council on the Arts, administered by the Arts Council of the Northern Adirondacks.
