The Artist at Work Studio Tour is
a self-guided tour in the Tri-Lakes area of the Adirondack Park
- during peak fall foliage season! It's a
wonderful opportunity
for visitors to meet local artists and crafts people, learn about and
observe their
creative process, and purchase their work. The Artist at Work Studio
Tour is sure to become a tradition in the Tri-Lakes area. First year
attendance was overwhelming at many studios. HELP! We are looking for artists to become involved with organization and promotion of this event. Volunteers are needed to work on: advertising, publicity and distribution. Contact Sandy Hildreth (shildreth@roadrunner.com), Donna Foley (fourdirections@verizon.net) or Diane Leifheit (farcryart@adelphia.net). The Adirondack Artists' Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery representing a diverse group of regional working artists. The Guild promotes development of the arts in the community year-round. The Guild art gallery is open 7 days a week during the summer months (closed Mondays during the winter) and s on the web at AdirondackArtistsGuild.com. The 2nd Annual Artist at Work Studio Tour is supported in part by a Developing Community Arts Grant from the New York Council on the Arts, administered by the Arts Council of the Northern Adirondacks. |
